Conversation about librarianship and advocacy

I was invited by an Argentinean organisation to discuss in an event called "Librarianship and politics: incompatibility or political illiteracy". Librarians from Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Colombia met to think about a neutral role of libraries.

The context

In this link you can find the blog post of the event in Spanish with the poster and two videos of our conversation. I was invited by Sindicalizándonos, a professional group working to create a union interested in advocacy for librarians.

After this conversation, I was invited as well to their podcast to discuss in deep some ideas. It happened couple of days after our first meeting and I had the opportunity to develop some ideas shared with my colleagues.
