My first post using Grav

After use for a long time Wordpress I am starting to use Grav to see how does it go. I think the experience is going to be interesting at least and here my documentation.

My first post using Grav

I am using this pic to test how Grav deals with images. This drawing was made by @cer098 circa 2015.

The installation process

To start using Grav it took a while. You need to use a terminal and is kind of tricky, but at the end it worked out. I had errors because the .htaccess wasn't set up and I had to do it through Vi, using the terminal, something I don't like because I am not a regular Vi user, I don't understand how does it works very well.

Anyway, I fixed it and when I saw the GUI love it. Grav looks very clean and can work on it easily. Let's see how it is.

Writing offline

I am writing on my Zettlerkasten. It means I am using Zettlr to write my blog posts on my laptop and keep backups offline, in addition of what you can see in Grav in this site. I am following the Documentatón workflow, which includes a repository on Fossil.

Then I copy/paste what I wrote in Zettlr to the Grav GUI I update the files using FTP. Looks good!
